The Boat Show is over.....finally

Thanks to everyone who came out and visited us at the Houston Boat Show this past week. The show was a blast, but very very long. 10 days is a long time to work an event like that, but the infamous Magic Cooler at Laguna's booth made it go by much quicker. For our first big show here at home I was more than pleased with the results. We sold virtually every Devil Eye and Big Eyed Mullet that we brought, along with a lot of the B&L Original Tails, every single Quick Connect Clip we could find and the new Bismuth Jig Heads were also hot. It was interesting how many people looked at the jig heads and were amazed at how light they are.

We learned a lot at this show, and I'm definitely looking forward to the Fishing Show at the George R. Brown Convention Center now. We will still be nearby Laguna Rods but will have our own booth this time--anyone that came by on Saturday and waited in line to look at a pack of lures or a rod should understand why--and we are going all out with making an impact on this show. I won't say too much this early on, but we could have some new product(s), displays and all sorts of other goodies ready when the Fishing Show starts on February 28th.
